Not common but found throughout the region through to Myanmar and Malaysia. This was a new teneral without much of the typical coloration. Usually, males have a bright red abdomen while females are more like the teneral male. The frons is bright metallic blue. This was photographed at the beginning of May before the monsoon on Phewa Taal in Pokhara.
